I got a really nice email from a girl I was chatting with on Match.com. We had previously agreed we would not meet because she is heavily Christian which I disavow. But we continued to chat and apparently I impressed upon her a sense of positivity and hope. It was rewarding to help someone that I have never met.

Notwithstanding that we lost in a shoot-out, I consider that game a tie. We came out with little hope going in our favour. We scored a goal in the first half to put us ahead. Then we proceeded to kill of 19 minutes of shut-down hockey before they collected a fluke deflected goal. We played hard, our scheme was solid, and the results were there. That was a good game for the Shockers.

Not only did I shovel clean the entire driveway (which really only had a skiff of snow on it) but I put ice melt on my walkway from the driveway to the door to melt the ice formed by last week's melting.

After a long and complicated battle, I finally solved a difficult hydraulic piping problem.
Though I was reluctant about going to football practice, I had fun and am glad I went.
My application of ice melt to my sidewalk has proven to be a success. I just need more for the really thick portions.

My day is off to an unexpectedly perfect start. I woke up peacefully to my first alarm, feeling refreshed. Rolled out of bad after only a couple of minutes and crushed out my workout routine. Had a quick 15 minute soak in the hot tub and got to work at 7:00-ish.
