The Daily Affirmation
I had an excellent game of ball hockey this evening in my co-ed game. We won! I was a part of that as I had an assist. I made no stupid mistakes, played aggressive in the offensive zone. It was a well rounded effort.
The men's ball hockey team continues to evolve. Our goalie was last to the game but we dominated the play and they only got 2 free goals. We showed good responsibility in the defensive zone, and we broke out well, eventually dominating cycle play in the offensive end. The only thing we didn't get was the win.

Maybe its not entirely selfless like I intend for this to be, but I met with one of the players on my ball hockey team tonight to talk about the team and see if we couldn't find a way to make things more successful. I don't know if it was the talk or natural progression but it amounted to a win.
When I took one shot and felt my wrist explode with pain, I shut myself down for the night and didn't push through the pain to keep playing.
