Today I Learned . . . (2012-11-15)

Today I Learned . . .

Arthur Scott (Scott Paper Company) invented paper towel when he received a car load of paper that was unusable as tissue paper because it was rolled too thick.  Having heard of a teacher that was using soft paper for students with colds (so as to not contaminate the roller towel in the washroom) he took the idea and marketed his thick paper as Sani-Towel.
