Today I Learned . . .

The majority, but not all, of the nutrients in an egg are in the yolk.  The egg white has greater amounts of protein, potassium, sodium, riboflavin and niacin but in most regardless the yolk has greater concentrations of nutrients.  The egg white of a typical egg contains 17 calories while the yolk contains 55 calories.
