I lost my heater in my truck when I went to meet my sister at lunch. The weather had dipped to a frosty -25 C according to the truck thermometer. I know how it is to get prompt vehicle servicing but I went to SMP on Circle Drive, because what choice did I have? You need a working heater in weather like this. To my utter amazement, without a pre-arranged appointment they got my truck in to be looked at, and had the fan motor replaced such that I drove it home tonight. That was an enormous stroke of good fortune if you ask me.
I bought two pair of new jeans today. The first pair of new jeans I've got in quite a long time. Size was a 34 waist. I'm not immediately certain, but it may have been last millennia when I bought pants that small for myself. And they fit great!

I finally finished a 700 page book on treating depression with cognitive behavioural therapy with the last part about drug therapies for depression. It was a long and arduous read. Phew!
I finally completed a non-essential chore that I've had on my mind for months.
We won our co-ed soccer game today 4-2.

I wore my gloves every time I went out side on my errand run this morning, rather than my usual tactic of saying "I'll only be outside for a few seconds" and consequently freezing my hands again.
I talked myself out of executing another pointlessly daring parking lot maneuver that was completely unnecessary.

The price of gas has dropped again.
My remote start upgrade has fixed my chronic complaint with my truck in the winter.
I got spiked in the foot, and the calf, as well as twisted my knee again but despite it all still managed to run 1.93 miles in tonight's 11:15 soccer game.
